A bit of our history: we are based in Calgary, Alberta, a city with a labour force heavily
influenced by mechanics,
engineers, and tradespeople.
Manning Robotics (Team 4627) was established in 2013 and started with 10 students and three mentors.
That season, we won the Rookie All-Star Award at the Western Canada Regional Championship. Since then, we have grown into a group of 45 students with 12 teachers and volunteer mentors. With this, our team has also proven itself both in Canada and internationally, consistently providing results and high standings.
We have very little turnover as our senior members are passionate about engaging new members to ensure they feel they are an integral part of the program.
